Quality Technician II

Responsibilities

• Conduct measurements and inspections on incoming raw materials and components
• Maintain batch house chemical inventory and ensure material qualification
• Record and report non-conformities in critical materials
• Perform verifications for test, measurement, and monitoring equipment
• Support Engineering teams with laboratory tests and measurements
• Use eQMS and LIMS electronic systems to report test results
• Conduct final inspections and assemble final product documentation packages
• Perform laboratory and shop-floor verification activities and internal audits
• Audit measurement tools and gauges for proper calibration

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience in lab technician, quality control, analyst, or engineering roles in a manufacturer
• Ability to use hand gages for dimensional measurements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, chemistry, engineering, or related discipline
• Experience with electronic and mechanical testing of electronic materials, wires, or metals
• Experience with analytical chemistry tests including titrations, ICP, GC, DSC, and TGA
• Experience with calibration and verification of test and measuring equipment
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems
