Quality Technician II

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect products and materials at various production stages
• Conduct audits of Critical To Quality (CTQ) processes and Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
• Measure and evaluate machinery output
• Perform Receiving Inspection and investigate material issues
• Record test data, prepare graphs/charts, and interpret engineering drawings
• Set up and perform destructive and non-destructive tests on materials and parts
• Enter data into computer systems and prepare Quarantine forms

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control/assurance in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and heat

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in manufacturing or engineering
• Certification in quality control (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma)
• Experience in vinyl extrusion or window manufacturing
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and QMS
