Quality Technician I

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality assurance processes and test product samples
• Analyze and record results data to report deviations from standards
• Perform CTQ and CFA audits using SafetyCulture on Tablet PC
• Train operators to comply with No Defect Forward (NDF) standards
• Conduct frame weld strength testing and functional/fabrication checks
• Perform quality testing according to AAMA specifications
• Generate Non-Conforming Reports (NCR) using Tablet PC
• Research and compile data using SafetyCulture and Excel
• Utilize band saw for impact and weld strength testing samples
• Perform 100% EOLI on vinyl lines
• Assist leadership in root cause analysis using QPS 5 Whys process

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of manufacturing experience in Windows Manufacturing
• Ability to read and write
• Proficiency using Outlook and Excel on Tablet PC
• Ability to read a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers
• Knowledge of measurement and test equipment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
