Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of incoming materials, components, and finished products to detect defects and deviations
• Ensure precise record-keeping of inspection results, including photographs and detailed reports
• Work with the quality control team to address material quality concerns and decide on appropriate dispositions
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to analyze root causes of defects and propose process improvements
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to boost product quality and operational efficiency
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to address incoming material challenges
• Advocate for safety in all aspects of work

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Inspection roles
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications according to ASME Y 14.5 standards
• Experience working with ERP or MRP systems
• Practical experience in performing in-process and final inspections
• Proficiency with mechanical and electrical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, multi-meters, etc.)
• Knowledge of dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspection processes
• Comfortable using Google Sheets and Docs for reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in MRB (Material Review Board)
