Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality inspections (IQC, IPQC, OQC)
• Inspect raw materials and components against drawings and specifications
• Execute AQL-based sampling plans and make accept/reject decisions
• Monitor critical operations including fabrication, welding, and assembly
• Assist with First Article Inspection (FAI) and balloon drawings
• Operate measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Maintain accurate inspection records and log non-conformances in the quality system
• Participate in root cause investigations and follow corrective actions

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, or production
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances
• Hands-on experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods on a factory floor
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Experience in electrical, metal fabrication, bus bars, or panel assembly
• Exposure to FAI processes, control plans, or quality management systems
• Basic understanding of GD&T
• Experience with digital calipers, height gauges, or radial gauges
