About the role
Responsibilities
- Inspect components and finished products to ensure conformity
- Document inspection results and support problem-solving initiatives
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues during vehicle builds
- Use assembly tools and processes on a daily basis
- Read and interpret automotive process documents and drawings
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify and contain nonconformances
Requirements
- High School diploma with relevant work experience, technical training, or professional certifications
- 5+ years of automotive experience in vehicle or component assembly
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree
- Experience with vehicle armoring or military-related work
- 2 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Experience with machine shop fabrication equipment or one-off/prototype vehicle builds
