Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead quality areas in fabrication or assembly, focusing on process verification and troubleshooting
• Monitor daily quality reports and provide feedback to management regarding issue resolution
• Perform daily quality checks, audits, and performance tests
• Train and mentor Quality Technicians on defect identification and resolution
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and support machine validations
• Measure parts to confirm acceptability and work with CMM Techs for defect resolution
• Document and communicate daily scrap rates to improve production efficiency
• Support a lean manufacturing environment by suggesting process improvements
• Assist in the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality-related role
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand basic mechanical concepts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with product testing
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise or working knowledge of Foam, Weld, or Enamel processes
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree
