Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspections, quality control audits, and first article inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
• Audit manufacturing processes, including ESD handling practices, documentation, and process integrity.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams to perform complex testing and root cause research.
• Conduct calibration on inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gages.
• Maintain the gage track program and manage calibration records.
• Evaluate statistical data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
• Perform out of box audits (OBA) and manage scrap disposition at MRB.
• Review SPC data and validate that tooling and gauges are functioning properly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience in quality control or inspection.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and schematic diagrams.
• Hands-on experience using precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and height gages.
