Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods, and environmental samples
• Follow proper workflow procedures and maintain accurate records
• Use electronic systems and databases for data storage and analysis
• Investigate solutions to quality issues and propose quality improvements
• Perform special-projects tests to investigate quality sources or solutions
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure timely calibration
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and database management
• Ability to work in outdoor, hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for up to 12 hours a day

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree
• Certified Quality Technician (CQT) Certification
