Quality Technician, Environmental Monitoring

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiology testing procedures and environmental monitoring within a GMP environment
• Execute the plant Environmental Monitoring program according to procedural requirements and schedules
• Track and trend environmental data to ensure compliance and product quality
• Conduct inspections of incoming items and maintain relevant quality records
• Provide input to facilitate CAPA investigations and support the ticket trending process
• Participate in process improvement activities to foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Maintain and update relevant computer applications and documentation
• Adhere to all EHS laws and Abbott Global and Technical standards to ensure safety

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of microbiology testing procedures
• Experience or understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or a closely related discipline
• 0-3 years of relevant professional experience in a laboratory or quality environment
