Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, visual, electrical, and mechanical inspections using standard documentation and procedures
• Implement incoming and in-process quality control plans, including submitting Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when issues arise
• Support the reduction of defective parts, process errors, and warranty costs
• Coordinate and report defects using the Quality Database and virtual job folders
• Assist the Quality System Engineer with calibration tasks, such as torque wrench calibration
• Properly identify, document, and process both conforming and non-conforming materials
• Troubleshoot testing activity discrepancies related to the semiconductor industry
• Interface with production, engineering, and project management personnel regarding inspection results

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree is a plus)
• 3-5 years of experience in a technician role within quality, manufacturing, engineering, or testing
• Basic understanding of ISO standards
• Proficiency in mathematical concepts including geometry, trigonometry, ratios, and proportions
• Experience using Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams
