Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect products during the extrusion process to ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Test incoming raw materials and maintain accurate quality records
• Inspect and tag finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Issue SAP Quality Notifications as required
• Operate diagnostic and laboratory equipment to perform necessary testing
• Complete appropriate paperwork and data entry for accurate quality transactions
• Collaborate with production teams to drive continuous improvement and safety
• Follow all company safety guidelines and standardized work practices

Requirements

• Approximately 1 year of experience in a manufacturing quality technician role
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, and general data entry for reporting
• Experience with SAP, ERP inventory systems, or SharePoint is highly desirable
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to recognize the color spectrum
• Physical ability to step over or bend under objects in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
