Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect product during the extrusion process and compare against customer specifications
• Perform daily line audits to proactively identify defects and assist with root cause corrective actions
• Inspect, test, and tag finished products to ensure they meet acceptable tolerances
• Test incoming raw materials and maintain accurate quality records
• Operate diagnostic equipment including micrometers, pi tapes, and calipers
• Issue SAP Quality Notifications as required and complete necessary paperwork for quality transactions
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area while following all company safety guidelines

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in quality or inspection procedures
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and reporting
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods on a plant floor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Bilingual communication skills
