Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily line audits to proactively correct defects and identify root cause corrective actions
• Inspect and test manufactured goods to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards
• Maintain product integrity through keen attention to detail and adherence to acceptable tolerances
• Collaborate with production teams to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure the continuous production of high-quality products

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within manufacturing preferred
• Proficiency using MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Experience utilizing standard measuring tools and product quality measuring devices
• Basic mathematical competencies
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to move about the manufacturing floor, including bending, stooping, and twisting
• Ability to recognize and distinguish between colors

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using quality lab equipment
• Experience with SAP or ERP data management systems
• Knowledge of root cause and corrective action processes and procedures
• Experience using material specification and requirement check sheets
