Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform warranty and general investigations and sectioning/analysis of cut tire sections
• Conduct over-inspection of 100% inspection products and perform dock audits
• Classify and inspect tires according to QMD standards
• Verify mold specifications and ensure all tire information is legible and correct
• Perform dirty mold audits and serial checks
• Follow all plant rules, departmental safety policies, and chemical handling procedures (MSDS)
• Monitor and implement ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment with exposure to temperature swings and high heat
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, push, pull, and operate machinery
• Ability to work shifts that may include evenings and weekends
