About the role
Responsibilities
- Performing sample inspections and measurements of incoming parts
- Processing non-confirming materials for testing or disposition
- Performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) of new parts and/or parts from new suppliers
- Completing internal audits and associated documentation
- Interpreting engineering prints and schematics
- Supporting safety and quality initiatives such as 5S, ESD, FOD, and ISO
- Assisting in the Material Review Board process
- Maintaining information systems
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on quality discrepancies and quality goals
Requirements
- Two year technical degree
- Two years experience in a fast paced manufacturing setting
- Experience with precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift more than 40 pounds
