About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory analysis on in-process and finished product samples to ensure conformance to quality and purity specifications.
  • Collect samples throughout the plant and deliver them to the Central Analytical Lab.
  • Analyze results in a fast-paced environment and report deviations to Operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, food safety, environmental, and GMP regulations.
  • Conduct physical testing of production samples and daily verification of lab instruments.
  • Maintain lab cleanliness, track inventory of product ingredients, and participate in production line cleaning procedures.
  • Record, interpret, and enter test results using computerized data systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Basic arithmetic and strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work from heights, bending, or kneeling.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to follow strict safety and hygiene protocols, including GMP and HACCP.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in an applied science.
  • Previous experience in an analytical laboratory setting.
