Quality Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a functional testing team, including daily work arrangement and performance evaluation
• Take overall charge of the functional testing process, including test planning, case design, and execution management
• Optimize functional testing standards, specifications, workflows, and tools
• Participate in project requirement and design reviews to identify risks
• Coordinate with development, product, and art teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Manage bug lifecycles, supervising reproduction, verification, and regression
• Report testing status, quality indicators, and risks to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of game functional testing experience
• 2+ years of team leadership experience
• Profound understanding of game testing processes and quality management systems
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office and common testing or project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading functional testing for PC, console (Xbox, PlayStation), or multi-platform games
• Familiarity with network testing, performance testing, or debugging tools
• Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and basic test automation concepts
• Experience in establishing testing processes or building testing systems
• Experience in large-scale game projects
