About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality control processes in the solar manufacturing plant to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications
- Supervise, mentor, and train quality technicians and inspectors
- Conduct inspections and audits throughout the production process to detect defects or deviations
- Enforce adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant quality and environmental standards
- Implement and monitor corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
- Manage supplier quality issues and address customer concerns regarding product quality
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment (solar or electronics preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles
- Hands-on experience with FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- English proficiency
