Quality Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Program Mitutoyo Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) for spare part inspection in compliance with regulatory and military standards
• Design Quality Inspection Plans for manual hand-tool inspection of spare parts
• Complete weld inspections according to ANSI/ASNT CP-105 standards
• Crosstrain Quality Technicians on the use of CMM and hand-tools
• Audit CMM inspections and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive continuous improvement
• Perform time studies and forecast labor hours for projected workloads
• Support Quality Technicians during inspections and provide backfill coverage as required
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to improve safety, quality, delivery, and costs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a similar field, or equivalent trade school/relevant experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality-related field
• Proficiency with hand measuring tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of Lean Six-Sigma improvement tools (e.g., 5s, DMAIC, Kaizen)
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Weld Inspector certification or Welders Workmanship Training certificate
• Prior leadership experience
• Basic knowledge of WMS and Movex
