About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, and customer requirements to ensure early quality involvement
- Develop quality budgets, cost estimates, and company directives, policies, and processes
- Lead stakeholders in analyzing process data and metrics to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Conduct research and analyze performance reports to continuously improve process capability
- Perform quality source selection and process capability assessments of suppliers
- Develop scope, schedules, and plans for hardware, software, and system-level audits
- Train senior management on preparation for third-party audits
- Analyze data to provide material review dispositions for complex nonconforming materials and equipment
- Travel approximately 25-40% depending on business needs
Requirements
- ISO9001 or AS9100 auditor certification
- 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)
- 3+ years of experience in verbal and written communication, including proofreading and editing
- 3+ years of hands-on experience using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry
- 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated high level of dependability, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience auditing QMS processes and systems
