Quality Systems Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant 3rd party certification to IATF standards by coordinating annual audits and corrective action follow-ups
• Serve as a local process expert for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and Customer Specific Requirements
• Lead 8D problem-solving teams to address quality issues
• Coordinate internal system audits using the SAP ZAMS system and track corrective actions to closure
• Conduct annual internal VDA 6.3 Process Audits on assembly lines and communicate results to customers as required
• Maintain qualifications as an IATF Lead Auditor and VDA 6.3 Lead Auditor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4+ years of professional experience (internships and co-ops included)
• Proven experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
• Practical auditing experience
• Strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and Control Plans)
• Excellent computer skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities
