Quality System Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of customer-generated Quality Notifications (QNs) to ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and contractual requirements.
• Perform initial reviews and containment actions, including verification of part traceability, certification, and stock segregation.
• Utilize root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce scrap, minimize rework, and improve overall quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional investigations with Warehouse Operations, Supplier Quality, and Procurement teams.
• Document all QNs accurately in the QMS, including defect descriptions, part numbers, and customer impact.
• Operate powered industrial equipment, including stand-up forklifts and order pickers, to support warehouse operations.
• Monitor QN aging and response metrics to ensure adherence to internal KPIs.

Requirements

• 1+ year of related work experience.
• 1+ year of experience operating Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment, such as stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status).

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Current or previous PIT certification (forklift, reach truck, or order picker).
