Quality Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the quality management system and ISO 9000 initiatives for Ladder Tower.
• Set quality compliance objectives and department goals to support business initiatives.
• Manage quality inspection, test, and validation programs for in-process and finished goods.
• Lead lean and continuous improvement activities for quality processes and support other departments in their lean efforts.
• Direct, control, and staff the Quality department, including employee coaching and performance evaluation.
• Respond to customer complaints by directing containment, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement internal quality audit programs and employee training related to quality.
• Provide technical review and approval of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage the identification, control, and calibration of inspection and measuring equipment.

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of hands-on quality and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of quality systems including PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, APQP, 8D, Control Plan, and ISO9000.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and lead teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the customized vehicle industry.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001, NFPA, FAA, or ASTM.
• Experience with product maintenance and testing.
