Quality Supervisor II

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and customer-specific requirements
• Supervise and develop quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians
• Manage internal and external audits and oversee manufacturing quality processes including SPC and quality gates
• Drive root cause analysis using 8D, A3, and DMAIC methodologies
• Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and improve First Pass Yield (FPY)
• Interface with customers regarding quality concerns and corrective actions
• Analyze warranty and field failure data to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues and drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field
• 5–7 years of progressive manufacturing quality experience
• 2 years of experience in a Team Lead, Project Leadership, or Supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
• Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D, A3, and 5 Whys
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, and MSA
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the automotive or heavy-duty manufacturing industries
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with fuel systems or precision machined components
• Proficiency with Power BI, Minitab, or similar data analysis tools
• Knowledge of OEM customer requirements and APQP processes
