About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and customer-specific requirements
- Supervise and develop quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians
- Manage internal and external audits and oversee manufacturing quality processes including SPC and quality gates
- Drive root cause analysis using 8D, A3, and DMAIC methodologies
- Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and improve First Pass Yield (FPY)
- Interface with customers regarding quality concerns and corrective actions
- Analyze warranty and field failure data to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues and drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 5–7 years of progressive manufacturing quality experience
- 2 years of experience in a Team Lead, Project Leadership, or Supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
- Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D, A3, and 5 Whys
- Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, and MSA
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the automotive or heavy-duty manufacturing industries
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with fuel systems or precision machined components
- Proficiency with Power BI, Minitab, or similar data analysis tools
- Knowledge of OEM customer requirements and APQP processes

- Starting salary range of $95,000 - $121,000 USD
