Quality Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) to drive continuous improvement and defect reduction.
• Design and document procedures for process control, testing, and inspection.
• Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 5 Why, 8D, and Fishbone.
• Manage quality control personnel on a day-to-day basis, providing mentorship and training.
• Interface with customer and supplier quality representatives to resolve issues and manage vendor performance.
• Establish and monitor key quality metrics, including process capability and control charts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in highly regulated sectors such as oil & gas, aerospace, or nuclear.
• Practical experience in precision engineering, specifically with CNC machining and metal cutting processes.
• Proficiency with inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications using GD&T.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001 and API.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Knowledge of ASME and AWS standards.
