Quality Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the food quality and safety management system to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
• Lead the quality team, including laboratory, assurance, and inspection staff, ensuring technical performance and alignment with business priorities.
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and prerequisite programs.
• Maintain plant certifications such as FSSC 22000, Halal, Kosher, and Organic, and manage relationships with regulatory bodies like ANVISA and MAPA.
• Coordinate investigations into deviations, non-conformities, food safety incidents, and customer complaints.
• Oversee internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring proper preparation and follow-up on findings.
• Monitor quality and food safety indicators, analyzing trends to define and execute action plans.
• Promote a culture of food safety and quality through training and awareness initiatives.
• Interface effectively with Production, Warehouse, Regulatory, Supply, and Development departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Solid experience in Food Quality and Food Safety.
• Proven experience in team management.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree or specialization in Quality or Food Safety.
