Quality Specialist, Peptide API & Development

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day execution of site Quality Systems, including document control, training, deviations, CAPA, and change control
• Review GMP records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Good Documentation Practices
• Assist with the issuance, tracking, reconciliation, and archival of controlled documents such as SOPs, forms, and protocols
• Support batch record review activities for peptide API manufacturing and escalate issues to leadership
• Track and coordinate deviations, investigations, and associated action items to closure
• Support training administration, including assignment tracking and training matrix maintenance
• Participate in routine walkthroughs of manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse areas to reinforce compliance
• Assist with supplier quality, material status controls, and inspection readiness activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
• 2–5+ years of experience in Quality, manufacturing, laboratory, or document control roles within GMP-regulated environments
• Working knowledge of cGMP principles and Good Documentation Practices
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on details

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with peptide API, sterile operations, or laboratory controls
• Experience working in startup or manufacturing support environments
• Proficiency with electronic quality systems, document management systems, or training systems
