Quality Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform standard quality control testing on incoming raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods
• Calculate and report test results, recording all data into the SAP database
• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (SHE) rules, procedures, and regulations
• File and maintain retain samples and ensure a clean working environment
• Assist Quality Engineers with complaint investigations and provide SHEQ training to internal customers
• Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization within the quality department
• Develop tests and report on formulations, executing lab testing and generating necessary documentation
• Communicate with various internal functions to execute the implementation of regulation changes

Requirements

• Proficiency with Quality core tools
• Experience in incident investigation and root-cause analysis
• Knowledge of SHEQ management systems and international standards
• Understanding of HACCP and sustainability environmental impact assessments
• Familiarity with HAZOP and occupational health & safety protocols
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and DMAIC
