Quality Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support construction quality activities on assigned industrial projects
• Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITP), and procedures
• Collaborate with construction supervisors and planners to implement project quality systems
• Verify that work complies with plans, specifications, and industry standards
• Apply quality management system requirements, work instructions, and established procedures
• Communicate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
• Assist in data collection and the preparation of quality reports and indicators
• Identify and document non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions
• Review quality documents including checklists, test reports, and as-built drawings

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineering
• Proven experience in the construction industry
• Demonstrated experience as a QA/QC inspector on large-scale projects
• Willingness to travel and work in various construction environments and climates
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to safety and high ethical standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to heavy industrial projects
• Functional knowledge of English (written and verbal) is an asset for mobility across Canada
