Quality Specialist, Advanced Problem Solving

Responsibilities

• Lead critical product performance investigations and manage escalations through established governance processes (PPAC/SIMAC).
• Oversee the resolution of issues with potential safety, regulatory, or legal impact.
• Drive structured problem-solving projects using 8D, Six Sigma (DMAIC), and Shainin RedX methodologies.
• Reduce variation and improve process capability by identifying root causes and conducting statistical analyses.
• Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and implement effective process controls such as SPC and control plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional containment, recovery, and permanent corrective actions between Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
• Execute continuous improvement projects and train teams in structured problem-solving methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in quality or advanced problem solving.
• Proficiency in Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, MSA, SPC, Capability, DoE) and Shainin RedX.
• Advanced analytical mindset with experience in statistical reasoning and data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as Minitab, JMP, or Excel.
• Knowledge of Lean principles (VSM, 5S, Kaizen, SMED) and quality systems (ISO 9001 or IATF 16949).
• Strong communication and facilitation skills to lead cross-functional teams and manage conflict.
