Quality SHEQ Internal Auditor

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular internal audits of warehouse and distribution processes to ensure compliance with company SOPs and quality standards
• Evaluate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping procedures for quality assurance
• Perform random and risk-based sampling of incoming parts, materials, and stored inventory
• Verify packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and conformance to purchase order specifications
• Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and inventory control teams to implement process improvements
• Maintain accurate audit records and prepare detailed reports for management review
• Monitor calibration and maintenance of quality-related equipment such as scales and scanners
• Support root cause analysis and follow-up audits to verify the effectiveness of corrective actions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in quality auditing, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
• Ability to walk warehouse floors, climb ladders, and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in internal auditing (e.g., ISO 9001 Internal Auditor)
