Quality & SHE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations and compliance with SHE requirements, standards, and local laws
• Maintain an injury-free workplace and promote safety culture
• Manage the Quality Management System in compliance with IATF 16949
• Oversee incoming material inspection and finished product release
• Conduct risk assessments and participate in HAZOP/MSA activities
• Perform routine audits and manage corrective actions
• Analyze safety and quality performance data
• Coordinate safety training and awareness programs
• Act as site security coordinator and MOC committee secretary
• Support continuous quality improvement and cost-of-quality control

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of SHE or operations management experience in the chemical industry
• Minimum 3 years of quality system management experience (IATF 16949)
• Strong knowledge of process safety (HAZOP, MSA) and ISO 14001
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
• Knowledge of engineering plastics and polymer processing industry standards
