Quality Services Clerk

Responsibilities

• Investigate, assess, and report on quality issues and non-compliances of inbound shipments at the Durham Retail Service Centre.
• Perform corrective work on problem loads, including relabeling, re-palletizing, and repackaging non-compliant shipments.
• Process, receive, validate, and move inbound product samples while managing inventory tracking via technology applications.
• Complete load inspection checklists, document non-compliances with photos, and report results to stakeholders.
• Review packaging against LCBO specifications, conduct burst strength testing, and assess products against packaging standards.
• Maintain accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track product movements and date code data.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to ensure efficient product flow through the supply chain.

Requirements

• Physical ability to lift and carry cases weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and ongoing basis.
• Availability to work all shifts (day and afternoon) and occasional overtime, including weekends.
• Experience with product quality and control and the movement of product within a warehouse facility.
• Capability to safely operate powered Material Handling Equipment.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 environments or similar workplaces focused on continuous improvement and rigor.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
