Quality Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, design, implementation, and completion of small to medium-sized quality improvement projects.
• Execute project plans and provide daily support for large strategic initiatives using the PDSA framework.
• Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder groups, ensuring active participation and clear documentation of decisions and action items.
• Partner with clinical leads to develop meeting agendas and collaborate with data teams to satisfy analytics needs.
• Identify and distinguish between quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
• Utilize standard Quality Improvement (QI) and Performance Improvement (PI) tools to drive clinical insights and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, engineering, performance improvement, or an equivalent field.
• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare, performance improvement, or project management.
• Proven experience facilitating groups with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of performance improvement techniques and methodologies.
• Ability to work autonomously in an ambiguous and changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, MBA, Nursing, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of specific Performance Improvement experience within a hospital or large health system.
• Familiarity with clinical terminology.
