Quality Production Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer quality systems to ensure the integrity of 787 Aircraft products and services
• Perform Material Review Board (MRB) approval and dispositioning responsibilities
• Validate airplane configurations for conformance and conduct conformity inspections
• Review and validate product non-conformances and determine appropriate repair procedures
• Perform root cause analysis on nonconformances to identify causes and prevent reoccurrence
• Conduct failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems
• Create analytical reports and coordinate with internal and external parties for distribution
• Train and mentor fellow employees regarding the Quality Management System (QMS)

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• 3+ years of experience in collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis, and presenting data
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Material Review Board (MRB) certification
• Experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing
• Experience working with Velocity
• Experience implementing defect reduction strategies within cross-functional environments
