About the role
Responsibilities
- Review and validate product non-conformances, disposition types, quality procedures, and engineering requirements
- Perform root cause analysis on nonconformances to identify causes and prevent reoccurrence
- Conduct failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems using knowledge of aerospace design
- Develop, modify, and document actions to implement corrective and preventive actions
- Train and mentor fellow employees regarding the Quality Management System
- Negotiate concurrence and obtain commitments for corrective action plans
- Create analytical reports and coordinate with responsible parties for internal and external distribution
- Review and approve quality planning changes or disposition of nonconforming hardware
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 3+ years of experience conducting Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for complex technical issues
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in verification of requirements (command media)
- 3+ years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers
- 1+ years of experience assisting in the flow down of quality requirements within a build plan
- 1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System (BPS)
- 1+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector
