About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate product non-conformances, disposition types, quality procedures, and engineering requirements
  • Perform root cause analysis on nonconformances to identify causes and prevent reoccurrence
  • Conduct failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems using knowledge of aerospace design
  • Develop, modify, and document actions to implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Train and mentor fellow employees regarding the Quality Management System
  • Negotiate concurrence and obtain commitments for corrective action plans
  • Create analytical reports and coordinate with responsible parties for internal and external distribution
  • Review and approve quality planning changes or disposition of nonconforming hardware

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • 3+ years of experience conducting Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for complex technical issues
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in verification of requirements (command media)
  • 3+ years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • 1+ years of experience assisting in the flow down of quality requirements within a build plan
  • 1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System (BPS)
  • 1+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector
