About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate product non-conformances, quality procedures, and engineering requirements
  • Perform root cause analysis on non-conformances to identify causes and prevent reoccurrence
  • Conduct failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems
  • Analyze process data, metrics, and models to identify root causes and improve process capability
  • Develop, document, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Project manage quality initiatives to support 787 production improvements
  • Train and mentor fellow employees regarding the Quality Management System
  • Create analytical reports and coordinate with responsible parties for distribution

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and summarizing raw data to recommend action plans
  • 3+ years of experience in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and linking worksheets
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or a production environment
  • Experience with the Boeing 787 Program
  • Experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing
  • Experience working with Velocity or CMES
  • Experience managing quality improvement projects or defect reduction strategies
