Quality Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement initiatives for new product development (NPI) and volume ramp-up to ensure zero-defect semiconductor products.
• Define, track, and drive continuous quality improvement strategies using data-driven insights.
• Analyze and report on quality performance (DPPM) and customer returns to identify trends and root causes.
• Serve as a liaison to external customer quality assurance teams and internal cross-functional engineering and operations teams.
• Implement customer-specific quality requirements and ensure compliance with automotive and industry standards.
• Lead structured problem-solving efforts to resolve critical quality issues and manage supplier excursions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product development or quality engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Expertise in statistical analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and 3x5 Why.
• Solid understanding of the semiconductor supply chain, production environments, and new product development processes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and customer escalations.
• Knowledge of commercial and automotive quality standards.
