About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality organization for a new Advanced Casting Foundry to achieve business goals and drive a culture of compliance.
  • Oversee the build-out and proficiency development of the Quality team, including Inspection, NDT, MRB, Gage Calibration, Metrology, and MCL.
  • Manage day-to-day operational decision-making and resource allocation to meet customer demand.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives using DMAIC, CORE, and Lean strategies to enhance quality and reduce operational costs.
  • Provide technical expertise regarding non-conforming material and support the Material Review Board (MRB) process.
  • Collaborate with operations and materials teams to ensure alignment with business, quality, and financial metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
  • U.S. Person status is required (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality systems.
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, and GD&T elements.
  • Experience in root cause corrective action and eliminating non-conformances.
  • Practical experience with DMAIC, CORE, Six Sigma, or other Lean Systems.
