Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead contact for all quality matters within the assigned business area
• Lead a team of quality professionals providing quality management services
• Ensure all activities throughout the FPM project lifecycle are defined, planned, and implemented
• Align activities to the RR SL Quality Policy, Strategy, and Manual
• Provide support and guidance in the delivery of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC)
• Drive continual improvement across all project phases

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in STEM, Quality Management, or a relevant discipline
• Extensive experience in quality management, assurance, or control on major infrastructure programmes
• Proven track record in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems
• Experience in auditing, reviewing, and approving engineering construction and operational deliverables
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and statutory compliance
• Experience managing non-conformance, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
• Familiarity with quality tools, metrics, reporting systems, and assurance frameworks
• Experience in Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear, Power Systems, or Advanced Manufacturing industries

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional quality certification (CQI/IRCA Lead Auditor, ISO9001 Lead Auditor)
• Member or Fellowship of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI)
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, 8D, or Human Factors methodologies
• Operational experience within an approved organisation scope
