About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage coordination of quality assurance and inspection operations
- Supervise QMS conformance and assign inspector workloads
- Monitor production conformance with quality standards and identify root causes for defects
- Implement corrective actions and process improvement opportunities
- Maintain and measure the QMS specific to product release
- Respond to customer quality inquiries, RMA requests, and non-conforming investigations
- Apply global IPC criteria to manufacturing, inspection, and rework processes
- Develop internal quality training programs and mentor staff
Requirements
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in a technical quality or PCB/PCBA manufacturing environment
- Active or obtainable IPC certification at the trainer or specialist level (CIT)
- Deep familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 quality standards
- Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or IPC-6012 specifications
