Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform surveillance of activities to support Project Quality Plans and Contractor Quality Plans/Inspection and Test Plans
• Manage and support project teams in the development of Inspection Test Plans and Quality Checklists
• Work closely with site engineers to ensure quality processes are executed correctly on-site
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Quality Policy, procedures, and contract requirements
• Maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with company procedures and contract requirements
• Coordinate and manage the closure of non-conformities or performance improvement actions
• Provide quality input into the supplier pre-qualification process
• Review documentation such as Quality Plans, including those originated by contractors
• Provide ongoing quality support to the project and client as required

Requirements

• HNC/HND/Degree qualified or equivalent relevant experience in Quality Management
• Relevant experience and qualifications working with High Voltage/Low Voltage transmission and distribution systems
• Proven experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Proficiency in standard computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet project deadlines
• Ability to work as a team player and coach/mentor others as required
