About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day quality functions to ensure compliance with UKAS accreditation 17025 and MCerts standards
- Plan and schedule audits, including management system audits and technical lab audits
- Lead UKAS, customer, and other external audits
- Manage quality control, customer complaints, and internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Convene management reviews and lead monthly Quality meetings to focus on trends and action items
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of quality experience
- Internal auditing experience and training
- Proven track record of success in a Quality role
- Thorough understanding of Chemistry and Laboratory terminologies and approaches
- Knowledge of UKAS 17025 accreditation and MCerts standards
