Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and continuously improve the AS9100 Quality Management System
• Plan, conduct, and close internal audits and manage external audits
• Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, and manage nonconformance and MRB activity
• Manage supplier quality including approval, surveillance, and scorecards
• Own receiving, in-process, and final inspection processes and FAI per AS9102
• Administer counterfeit parts prevention per AS5553 and AS6174
• Maintain workmanship standards per IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620
• Support protection of controlled unclassified information (CUI) per NIST SP 800-171
• Lead quality readiness for FAA Production Approval Holder status
• Track and report key quality metrics to leadership

Requirements

• U.S. Person status (ITAR compliance)
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
• 5+ years of quality experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and hands-on QMS ownership
• Experience with internal/external audits, CAPA, and MRB processes
• Experience with AS9102 first article inspection and electromechanical assemblies

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ certification (CMQ/OE, CQE, or CQA)
• AS9100 / AS9101 Lead Auditor certification
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
• PPAP experience
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 and CUI handling
• Exposure to FAA PMA / TSO or EASA Part 21 / Part 145 processes
