Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop accreditations according to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17065
• Coordinate and control all assessment procedures with the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS)
• Prepare, accompany, and follow up on DAkkS assessments and implement corrective measures
• Maintain and expand the accredited scope in coordination with technical departments
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve a norm-compliant QM system
• Create, control, and maintain quality-relevant documents such as manuals and work instructions
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate internal audits and coordinate external certifications
• Manage deviations, measures, and complaints while tracking KPIs
• Provide technical advice and support to laboratories and technical departments
• Design and conduct training on QM requirements and standards

Requirements

• Degree in a scientific, technical, or quality-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Quality Management)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in quality management
• Proven experience managing ISO/IEC 17025 accreditations
• Deep knowledge of the German accreditation landscape and DAkkS processes
• Proficiency with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17065, and EA/ILAC documents
• Experience in building and operating QM systems and conducting system audits
• Certification as an internal or lead auditor (e.g., DGQ, CQI/IRCA) is desirable
• Native or business fluent German (C2) and good English skills
