Quality Manager – Product Development (Electronics)

Responsibilities

• Lead project quality planning including APQP, PPAP, quality KPIs, and milestones
• Analyze and integrate customer requirements into the product development lifecycle
• Drive DFMEA, PFMEA, and FMEDA reviews and ensure timely action closure
• Support design reviews to ensure process compliance, traceability, and special characteristic management
• Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa methods during development
• Act as the primary customer-facing quality interface for reviews, audits, and escalations
• Coordinate supplier quality activities for critical components such as semiconductors, magnetics, and HV connectors
• Prepare customer PPAP submissions and ensure project alignment
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, HELLA Product Engineering Processes, and internal standards

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in Automotive Electronics or EV Power Electronics Quality
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and 8D methods
• Deep understanding of EV components including OBC, DCDC, Inverters, and HV systems
• Experience interpreting schematics, layouts, and engineering documentation
• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Power Electronics, or Mechatronics

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to ISO 26262 Functional Safety
• Basic understanding of HV safety and EV compliance standards
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
