About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality strategy and operational support for the new Advanced Casting Foundry (ACF) greenfield business.
  • Drive a culture of compliance through strong collaboration with Operations and Manufacturing teams.
  • Build and develop the Quality team, including oversight of Quality Engineering, Inspection, NDT, Metrology, and Audit functions.
  • Identify and establish required QMS improvements to support the new internal product line.
  • Lead process improvement opportunities using DMAIC, CORE, and Lean strategies to enhance quality and reduce costs.
  • Provide technical expertise regarding non-conforming material and oversee the Material Review Board (MRB) process.
  • Define and implement plans to support business objectives, including quality, CORE, and financial metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality systems.
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, and GD&T.
  • Experience in root cause corrective action and eliminating non-conformances.
  • Practical experience with DMAIC, CORE, Six Sigma, or other Lean Systems.
  • Previous experience with Pratt & Whitney Quality systems.
