Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in alignment with USACE and DOTD standards
• Oversee quality control and assurance activities across all phases of construction, including site development, wharves, and ramps
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, specifications, and contract requirements
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews of construction activities and documentation
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions
• Serve as the liaison with third-party inspectors, regulatory agencies, and client representatives
• Mentor and train project staff on quality procedures and continuous improvement practices

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana or eligibility to transfer license
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction quality management
• Experience on large-scale civil infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of USACE standards, DOTD inspection protocols, and NEPA compliance
• Experience with dam embankment, marine terminal, or heavy civil construction projects
• Familiarity with federal permitting processes and environmental review procedures
