Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a successful quality program based on contract requirements and company standards
• Directly supervise and manage inspection and testing personnel
• Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and solutions for quality issues
• Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping is performed, validated, and easily retrievable through audits
• Promote and enforce quality processes to ensure work is performed correctly the first time
• Communicate quality control information to relevant organizational departments, vendors, or contractors
• Ensure all non-conformance work is properly reported, tracked, and documented
• Research, read, and interpret construction plans, standards, and specifications
• Assist with the development of root cause analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing construction quality management programs in the Construction or Oil/Gas industries
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams of up to 20 personnel
• Strong technical writing and public speaking skills for communicating with craft personnel and management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional math, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to access all points of a construction site in various climates and environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as AWS, CWB, API, ACI, ICBO, ASNT, or NACE
